Editing, writing, and SEO support

A blank page. A messy first draft. A "finished" article that has already been through multiple rounds and still feels off or underperforms. I can step in at any point: see my previous work in my portfolio.

01

Editing

Editing is where I bring the most experience, and I mean actual editing, not just tidying up a few sentences and calling it a day.

I work on rough drafts, underperforming articles, website copy, and AI-written content that needs a proper human pass. Whether your content requires proofreading or more substantive editing, you'll get a high-quality piece ready for publication.

What's included

  • Substantive editing for structure, clarity, logic, and flow
  • Rewriting weak, repetitive, vague, or awkward sections
  • Fact-checking claims
  • Refreshes for outdated content
  • Humanizing and rewriting AI-generated drafts in your TOV
  • Proofreading for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency
  • Search intent review so the piece answers the real question behind the query
  • Pacing fixes where sections drag, rush, repeat themselves, or lose focus
  • Internal link suggestions

02

Writing

I write content from scratch for brands that want something way better than generic copy overstuffed with keywords. That includes blog posts, long-form articles and guides, web copy, thought leadership articles, newsletters, and social media posts.

I start every piece with the same question: what is the reader trying to find, understand, solve, compare, or decide? From there, I shape the content around search intent while also focusing on page structure, natural keyword placement, heading hierarchy, pacing, formatting, tone of voice, snippet opportunities, internal links, and the follow-up questions readers are likely to have.

You'll get content that reads naturally, answers the real query behind the search, and gives your audience a reason to keep reading or take action instead of clicking away.

What's included

  • Original content built around search intent and your business goals
  • Human-sounding language free of AI clichés, buzzwords, and generic filler
  • Featured snippet-friendly sections where definitions, steps or direct answers make sense
  • Brand voice alignment so the copy sounds like your brand at its best
  • Organic calls-to-action that feel natural, not forced
  • Clear structure and logical flow
  • Smooth transitions and well-balanced section
  • Internal link recommendations that connect the piece to the rest of your site
  • Source-based writing backed by research, interviews, references, and stats

03

SEO content support

I do the behind-the-scenes content work that helps a page perform better in Google and other search engines, AI overviews, answer boxes, and chat-based search tools. I work on the parts of the page that affect how easily it can be found, understood, extracted, and trusted.

You'll get content that has a better chance of showing up in search engines, a better chance of being pulled into AI-generated answers, and a much better chance of holding the reader once they land on the page.

What's included

  • Search intent analysis focused on the actual question behind the query
  • Topic planning that helps turn broad ideas into stronger, more targeted pages
  • Keyword research with Ahrefs and Google Keyword Planner
  • On-page optimization (natural keyword placement, meta description, alt text for images, internal and external links, and the rest)
  • Featured snippet opportunities for definitions, step lists, comparisons, and direct answers
  • Review of existing drafts for structure, pacing, keyword placement, and search alignment
  • Content refresh suggestions for outdated pages
  • Uploading and optimizing directly in WordPress or Contentful

FAQ

Fair questions, honest answers

Do you work with AI-generated drafts?

Yes. Plenty of clients bring me AI drafts, and I treat them as raw material: I fact-check every claim, restructure, cut the filler, rewrite every common AI word or phrase, and edit until the piece sounds like the brand instead of a language model. What I won't do is lightly polish an AI draft and call it done.

What are your turnaround times?

It depends on the job, scope, and how much research is involved.

As a general range, I can write about 1500 words per day. For editing, it's a bit harder to estimate because it all depends on how much work the original draft needs. I might spend several hours editing a 2k-word piece if the foundation is weak and it requires extensive rewrites and restructuring. If a draft is already solid and just needs tightening, readability improvements, adding keywords, and a final proof, I can turn it around faster.

We agree on a deadline before I start, and I keep it.

Do you write under my brand's byline?

Yes, ghostwriting is standard. Most of my client work is published under the client's byline, and I never claim public credit for it. The words are yours from the moment I deliver them.

How do we start?

Email me through the contact page and I'll reply in the next 24 hours. Let me know what you need help with: blank page, rough draft, underperforming article library, optimizing and uploading, all of that is useful context. If you have an existing draft, a brief, or a timeline in mind, include that too. I'll get back to you with questions, a quote, and a timeline.

Do you only work freelance?

While I do take on freelance work, either project-based or on a monthly retainer, I'm especially interested in part-time or full-time roles when the fit is right. Get in touch and I'll be happy to share my availability.
